Web site for IT students

To help prepare IT students for work, the Australian Computer Society (ACS) has launched a Web site to promote links between aspiring professionals and those already in the workforce. The site features information about IT courses and projects, links to IT news and employment information and lets students list their final-year projects for access by their peers. Designed and built by final-year computer science students at the University of Western Sydney, the Web site provides a mentoring system where students can post questions and receive answers from working professionals. www.acs.org.au/student/'Bricks & clicks' flavour of monthFollowing the moves of retailer David Jones and the like, WC Penfold has joined the Internet revolution and become a 'bricks and clicks' trader.
