Cisco Australia's managing director, Gary Jackson is leaving his local post for a position in Singapore, a company spokesperson has confirmed.
Jackson told Cisco staffers late last week that he had accepted the position of Asia/Pacific director, service provider line of business for Cisco, in Singapore.
According to the Cisco spokesperson, Jackson's new role will be effective from August, and the search for a replacement is underway.
Jackson joined Cisco Australia in 1997 following a two-year stint as managing director of Sybase. Prior to that he was head of Microsoft Australia.
