Australia to drive Oracle's NC development

With the Asia-Pacific region a key focus for its network computing agenda, Oracle has announced a commitment to invest $48 million towards developing a new corporate headquarters and a National Centre for Network Computing in Australia. According to officials, the National Centre for Network Computing will "be a professional centre for the development and demonstration of business solutions complying with Oracle's network computing architecture, as well as acting as a showcase for the network computer as a new low-cost access device".
