The head of Check Point Software in Australia Scott Ferguson has been promoted to regional vice president of Asia.
Scott McKinnel takes over as manager for Australia and New Zealand moving from his previous role where he was in charge of channel business.
Ferguson first joined Check Point in May 2002. With more than 25 years IT industry experience, Ferguson has held executive positions at Cisco and 3Com. McKinnel also joined the company in 2002 and was previously the regional manager for RSA Security in Australia.
