ViewSonic PF775 is a 17in flat-screen monitor designed with PerfectFlat technology.

ViewSonic PF790 is a 19in monitor with PerfectFlat screen technology to eliminate curved surfaces.

ViewSonic P815, a 21in monitor features a fine dot pitch, a maximum resolution of 1800x1440 and superior refresh rates.

The flat Panel ViewSonic VP151 is a 15in multi-functional, flat-panel display incorporating digital, analog and composite video inputs into a single unit. The composite video input accepts DVD, VCR and video cameras. The VP151 also features two 2-watt speakers built into the base to deliver stereo sound for on-demand multi-media applications.

Fujitsu 15-in LCD TFT Multimedia Display TL528AThis is a slimline LCD with tilt base, auto tuning and full multimedia features with wide viewing angles and a resolution of 1024. Cheap to run and supported by a three-year on-site warranty (one year on the backlight) the Fujitsu TL528A is a low priced LCD display unit available now. The Fujitsu TL528A is a Tier one LCD display at a budget price.

Hitachi Australia

Hitachi is releasing monitors like the 19in CM771 with a flat screen, for those wanting a hi-tech look and reflection-free screen. The CM771 is free of edge distortion and has the added benefit of saving on desk space. With the price of flat-panel TFT LCD monitors rapidly falling they are a viable alternative and are suitable where style and appearance are important and where there is call for ergonomic work practices. The 15in panel has up to 1024x768 resolution with good brightness and viewing angle.

LG Electronics

LG Electronics is now offering two LCD monitors in its Flatron range. As CRT will soon be a thing of the past LG is also planning to extend its range in early 2001 to flat tube and LCD monitors in various shapes and sizes to suit different working environments.

A 23in will be available early next year. In addition, 15in and 19in AV-TV LCDs will be released at the end of the year.

All Panasonic 15in LCDs have a viewing angle of 140 degrees with a 400:1 contrast ratio making text easy to read. The pixel pitch is 0.297mm and resolution is 1024x768 at 75Hz. All units carry TCO99 and PC2000 support. Options include a USB hub and multimedia speakers as well as a charcoal black colour. A touch-screen or wall mount is also available. The LC90S is one of the largest LCD screens available with a viewable area of 19in which can be configured in different aspect ratios. It carries all the same features as the 15in LCD models as well as having dual VGA inputs, a 160 degree viewing angle and a six-hub USB base. The 19in LCD is capable of 1280x1024 resolution displaying 16.77 million colours.
