TAFE institutions across Victoria will roll out a new student management system from ASX-listed software provider, TechnologyOne (ASX:TNE).
The company will deploy the new system in three phases over three years to enable 13 institutions to process enrolments, assessments and other daily tasks.
TechnologyOne executive chairman, Adrian Di Marco, said more than 300,000 students and staff would use the system.
“Six universities throughout Australia are now live on this new generation system and they are realising many benefits, all of which can be extended to other tertiary education providers,” he said in a statement.
“Competition continues to grow in this sector and it is important to have software that TAFEs can use to help them make more informed decisions about where to spend time and money.”
Penrith City Council in NSW recently announced it had adapted TechnologyOne financial software to measure, monitor and report on its carbon emissions and water use.
