Dimension Data names director of solutions

Dimension Data Australia has selected Neil Campbell to become director of solutions, replacing Duncan Brown

ICT services provider Dimension Data Australia has appointed company veteran Neil Campbell as director of solutions for Australia.

Campbell replaces Duncan Brown, who was appointed director of services in October last year.

Campbell has been a member of the Dimension Data group since joining the Australian unit in 2002 as general manger for the company's security segment.

He is returning to the Australian business after a stint as global general manager for security for the parent company.

“I am thrilled to welcome Neil back into the Australian team and look forward to him sharing the global perspective that he has gained in working across all our regions,” Dimension Data Australia CEO Rodd Cunico said.

Campbell started his career with the Australian Federal Police in 1989, later specialising in cybercrime.

The Dimension Data group was founded in Johannesburg in 1983, and now operates in 51 countries across APAC, Europe, MEA and the Americas.

It is currently a member of the NTT group of companies — Japan-based NTT acquired the company for around £2.1 billion ($3.39 billion) in a deal first announced in mid-2010.
