Two former politicians have become board members of local Internet companies.
On Friday, online retailer dStore announced former NSW premier Nick Greiner had joined its board. Greiner resigned as a director of Coles-Myer this morning.
Additionally, Tim Fischer, former deputy prime minister and leader of the National Party, has joined the board of Australian Business Technologies (ABT), a local satellite and communications provider. Fischer joins previous National Party leader Charles Blunt who is chairman of the ABT board.
ABT is currently establishing the infrastructure to roll out a regional satellite communications network.
