Hitachi Data Systems (HDS) has recruited a new Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands country manager from its operations in Europe.
Neil Evans, who was previously HDS regional vice president and general manager of Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Africa, is now based in Sydney.
He replaces current country manager Neville Vincent who has been promoted to senior vice president and general manager for Asia Pacific, based in Hong Kong.

According to HDS, its business in Oceania expanded with year on year revenue growth under Vincent’s tenure.
Evans said in a statement that he was “looking forward” to carrying on the work Vincent did supporting customers across the Oceania region.
