Dick Smith Electronics will sell Amazon's new Kindle Fire HD tablet in Australia.
The retailer currently lists the 16GB model of the 7in Kindle Fire HD on its website for $229 with free shipping.
The Dick Smith pre-order page lists a "shipment date" of Thursday 13 June, the same day that Amazon will begin online sales of the device to Australian consumers.
Unlike Amazon, Dick Smith does not appear to be stocking the larger 32GB model of the Kindle Fire HD.
There's been no word on whether the retailer will also sell the larger Kindle Fire HD 8.9" tablet.
The news follows last week's announcement by Amazon that the Fire HD tablets would be sold Down Under, almost nine months since the devices officially went on sale in the US.
