Movements noted around the traps

Eran Segev has been appointed technical director of Web performance management specialist Mercury Interactive, where he will have responsibility for customer support, education, consulting and internal IT and education. He joined the company from Amdocs, where he was a project manager developing an Internet customer care system.

The Commonwealth Government has appointed six members of an advisory panel for its $A40 million Advanced Networks Program. The panel will be chaired by Greg Crew, and other members are Angus Robinson, Professor Mary O'Kane, Shara Evans, Professor Peter Darling and Warwick Smith.

Ralf Hirt has been appointed regional director of DoubleClick TechSolutions for Australasia and South Asia. He was previously responsible for TechSolutions sales in South Asia and business development in the Asia Pacific region.

Victorian E-commerce developer Interserv -- which late last year snapped up a number of senior personnel from the ZIVO Web development subsidiary of LibertyOne -- has opened an office in NSW where Adrian Dunphy has been appointed state manager. He previously worked for Southern Cross Cable in a consulting role, prior to which he was national channels manager at Connect.com.au.
