IT infrastructure provider Data People has signed a deal with iseek Communications to move into the vendor’s data centre in Gore Hill, Sydney.
According to Data People's founder and managing director, Bill Bilalis, the company had “traffic issues” with its previous providers and couldn’t guarantee customers network speed.
“We were in discussions with multiple carriers when we met iseek. Its ability to aggregate all these different carrier services and provide a single managed data network just made our life easy,” he said in a statement.

Data People will use the facility to provide cloud infrastructure to customers including Canteen Australia, the University of New South Wales and Fantastic Furniture.
Bilalis added that one of its not-for-profit customers had issues with its previous carrier including traffic outages.
“With iseek, we can deliver something that makes their business work,” he said.
