Brisbane startup Temando has won IBM’s Australia and New Zealand SmartCamp competition for its delivery management software system.
According to IBM, the judges were impressed by Temando’s ability to articulate its vision of an interconnected delivery management platform for online retailers and consumers.
The startup will receive three months of mentoring from IBM experts and access to the vendor’s technology.
Temando has also been invited to the SmartCamp regional finals held in Istanbul, Turkey during October. The winner of the Istanbul event will receive an invitation to the global finals, where the IBM global entrepreneur of the year will be named.

According to Temando founder and CEO Carl Hartmann, the program has helped refine its business pitch process.
“We are thrilled to have been a part of such a program that has helped us connect with IBM and industry experts to build up our network as we look forward to the next step of our business,” he said in a statement.
The SmartCamp initiative is part of the company's global entrepreneur program which provides startups with coaching, mentorship and connections to venture capitalists, clients and partners.
CropLogic, last year’s A/NZ winner, has raised NZ$1 million in funding since the event.
