Coles apologises for website being 'down, down'

Supermarket operator says its sites experienced an IT glitch

Coles has issued an apology to customers after its websites were down for approximately three hours today due to an IT glitch.

The supermarket operator posted a message on its official Facebook page saying that it had experienced some website issues.

“We're very sorry for the inconvenience and we'll have it up and running as soon as possible,” read the statement.

Customers who tried to access the company's websites were greeted with the following message: “Our services are proving very popular right now, and we apologise for the delay in accessing our site. Could you please wait a few minutes and try again? Thanks, Coles Support Teams.”
