Telcoinabox signs ex-ISPOne customers

Inabox Group subsidiary signs ISP Montimedia

Telco wholesale aggregator Telcoinabox has signed former ISPOne customer Montimedia, the company announced today.

Some 2000 customers were migrated to the Telcoinabox platform, a statement from the company said. Telcoinabox is a subsidiary of Inabox, which listed on the ASX last year.

ISPOne imploded last year after a billing dispute with Telstra.

The fallout of the dispute saw the company go under, affecting a number of MVNOs such as Medion (which operates the ALDImobile brand) and Kogan.

CONEC2 announced in September that it had acquired ispONE's assets. CONEC2 itself entered administration in May with Vocus picking up customers from the company.

"Telcoinabox has signed agreements with several well-established resellers formerly supplied by ISPOne," a statement from the wholesaler stated.

In updated earnings guidance issued today Inabox said it expected net profit after tax of $850,000 for the six months ending 30 June.

"As expected we are now seeing the start of revenue from the nationwide launch of our first mass market customer and as they build their customer base we expect this to become more significant in early 2015," Inabox managing director Damian Kay said in a statement.

The "mass market customer" is a "household name consumer brand" and the win was announced by the company in mid-April.

"We continue to attract new resellers and in this half Telcoinabox signed agreements with several well established resellers formerly supplied by ISPOne," Kay said in today's statement.

"I am confident that we have provided a customer and technology base to broaden our revenue and profit earnings over the longer term."
