Queensland Performing Arts Centre tenders for CRM system

Project aims to improve integration between systems

The Queensland Performing Arts Centre (QPAC) has issued an invitation of offer for a new customer relationship management (CRM) system.

QPAC operates four venues in Brisbane; the Lyric theatre, Concert Hall, Cremorne theatre and Playhouse theatre.

According to tender documents, QPAC’s customer records are segmented across a number of different systems including Point of Sale (POS), InfoGenesis inventory and an email marketing service provider.

“It is intended that these systems will continue to be used by QPAC once any CRM solution is implemented,” said the documents.

The purpose of the project is to implement a CRM system that allows QPAC to integrate its processes and communication channels. In addition, QPAC wants to use the CRM to enhance its understanding of customers and manage customer relationships across its various business units and sales channels.

“Due to the diverse nature of the business and customers [patrons, hirers, government representatives, sponsors, corporates and VIPS] there are manual processes and challenges in analysing campaigns and customer data effectively. QPAC needs to reduce the complexities within its processes and communication channels,” read the documents.

QPAC wants the CRM project completed by January 2016.

The successful supplier will be responsible for installing the CRM system, project management, data migration, systems integration and marketing campaign management.

In addition, the supplier must be a signatory to the Queensland government's IT contracting framework version 5.

The deadline for replies is 25 November, 2014.
