NEXTDC hires new CFO

Oskar Tomaszewski takes reins from Paul Jobbins who is now head of finance

Data centre provider NEXTDC (ASX: NXT) has hired Oskar Tomaszewski as its new CFO after current CFO Paul Jobbins was promoted to head of finance.

Jobbins had been in the CFO role since October 2012. He will continue to serve as NEXTDC’s company secretary.

Based in Sydney, Tomaszewski will be responsible for the vendor's business support services group which includes finance, human resources and legal services functions. Before joining NEXTDC, he was a director at Australian financial advisory firm, Lazard, for two years. Before Lazard, he worked as a director at O’Sullivan Partners.

In February 2013, the company recruited Paul Gampe for the newly created role of CTO.

At the time, a NEXTDC spokesperson said the CTO position was created in response to growth in the company’s IT functions.
