In brief: Federal Court approves Vocus' acquisition of Amcom

Amcom expects to suspend trading today

Vocus' move to acquire Amcom has received Federal Court approval.

Amcom said it expects to lodge a copy of the court's orders with ASIC today and apply for a trading halt at the close of ASX trading.

Earlier this month Amcom shareholders voted in favour of the acquisition.

Outside of TPG, which had sought to derail the merger 99.8 per cent of votes were in favour of the move.

Amcom and Vocus entered into a scheme implementation agreement in December.

Amcom shareholders will receive 0.4614 Vocus shares for each Amcom share held on 1 July.
