STOCKHOLM (03/22/2000) - Systems vendor Unisys Corp. earlier this week announced that it has acquired VeriCom ASA, a Norway-based IT consulting company.
Financial terms of the acquisition of the privately held VeriCom were not available.
With the purchase, Unisys aims to strengthen its position in the growing Norwegian market for IT services, the company said in a statement.
VeriCom has a broad customer base and strong competences particularly in products from Cisco Systems Inc. and Microsoft Corp., Unisys said.
