Verve Energy and Fujitsu sign service desk deal

Three year contract to be rolled out in WA

Fujitsu has signed a IT service desk contract with Western Australia’s largest electricity generation company, Verve Energy.

The multi-million dollar three-year contract, with two one year options, is designed to resolve service requests, incident management and change management requests.

It includes the implementation of Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) processes.

Verve Energy CIO, Brian McSkimming, said in a statement that the new service desk would enhance the company's business processes.

“It will provide a central point of contact for Verve Energy users to find support and assistance for their queries,” he said.

Fujitsu began working with Verve Energy in 2009.
