Datacom acquires ICT services provider XciteLogic

Datacom has acquired the assets of Western Australia based ICT services provider, XciteLogic, for an undisclosed sum.
The provider offers services to government, corporate and education customers.
According to Datacom, 25 XciteLogic employees will be offered new roles with the company.

Datacom's Western Australia director, Basil Lenzo, said the company will expand XciteLogic’s existing operations in WA, Victoria and New South Wales.
“This [acquisition] will complement our existing business in WA and beyond, allowing us to take to the education market, value-added services and infrastructure solutions as well as intellectual property assets,” he said in a statement.
The company also recently opened an office in Pilbara, WA, to service the resources/mining sector.
