Inland Revenue selects Datacom to supply IaaS

The IaaS arrangement is expected to save taxpayers up to $250 million over the next decade

Datacom has been chosen as the preferred vendor to supply infrastructure as a service (IaaS) to Inland Revenue.

Inland Revenue told Computerworld New Zealand it had recently undertaken a procurement process through the syndicated agreement for IaaS and had chosen to enter negotiations with Datacom as preferred provider.

Inland Revenue said it was unable to make any further comment as contract negotiations are on-going.

The IaaS arrangement is expected to save taxpayers up to $250 million over the next decade, according to Internal Affairs Minister Chris Tremain.
