Storage vendor Iomega has reached an agreement to acquire managed services provider CSCI. The acquisition, announced Tuesday, marks a planned expansion of Iomega's target market beyond just small and medium-sized businesses.
Novell officials have confirmed a release later this month of SUSE Linux Enterprise 10, just one month after the company unveiled a free public preview of the software. The preview was the first opportunity many users had to test Novell's commercial version of the openSUSE desktop environment.
Nortel Networks Thursday appointed John J. Roese to be its new chief technology officer. The appointment comes more than a year after then-CTO Gary Kunis and Chief Operating Officer Gary Daichendt both left Brampton, Ontario-based Nortel after just three months in their jobs.
