• CSG receives takeover offer

  ASX-listed IT services company CSG (ASX: CSV) has informed the market that it has received a non-binding off-market takeover offer to acquire all of the issued fully paid shared of the company.

• Eftel acquires Platform Networks

  ASX-listed internet service provider Eftel (ASX: EFT) is to acquire wholesale telecommunications provider Platform Networks for an undisclosed sum.

  Listed telecommunications provider M2 (ASX:MTU) has continued its acquisition spree announcing it is to purchase the mobile contracts and records of 15,000 Austar customers in a $2 million deal.

  Australia-headquartered software company Atlassian has made its first buy since taking $60 million in venture capital investment in July, picking up Bitbucket.org, a free code hosting site with some 60,000 users.

  Payments technology company, Keycorp (ASX:KYC), has begun its campaign to woo over investors and convince them to accept Australian private equity firm Archer Capital's takeover offer.
