Firewall vendor Fortinet has appointed Ben Teh as manager, Australia New Zealand following the departure of Peter Sandilands.
Security expert Sandilands will continue his teaching role at the University of Technology in Sydney.
Ben Teh will also be Fortinet's sales director for South Asia and will be fully responsible for all aspects of business within the Australia and New Zealand region.
Teh was previously South Asia manager for firewall vendor Watchguard and previously southern region sales manager for Sealcorp.
"Fortinet has been established in the Asia region for more than two years and has successfully built market awareness for security appliances to protect against the latest blended security threats," Teh said.
He is a graduate of La Trobe University in Melbourne where he majored in computer science and communications engineering.
