Australian logistics company Linfox has been accredited as an SAP Hosting Partner, with Linfox now offering managed logistics services and outsourced supply chain services for SAP users.
The deal involves Linfox running complete logistics and supply chain processes as a managed service as well as integration of customer systems running SAP logistics.
Linfox CEO Michael Byrne said the accreditation reviewed Linfox's internal SAP management against best practice, which included Linfox's project management disciplines and procedures.
Geraldine McBride, SAP Australia managing director and CEO, said potential customers would benefit from tight integration and collaboration between two supply chain leaders in their respective fields.
"Supply chain best practice is a business essential in an increasingly global and demanding business environment," McBride said.
