Firefox plug-in makes Digging faster

Be the first to submit stories to social networking sites

Being the first to submit popular news stories to social news sites just got easier with the release of a new Firefox plug-in by SEO company, 97th floor.

The tool, Social Media for Firefox, enables internet users to view stats on a particular story in regards to which news sites it has been submitted to and how many votes it has received. The user can then submit the story to a forum that it is not yet on, by simply pressing the relevant icon. It currently only works with Digg, Reddit, StumbleUpon and Del.ici.us.

Feedback so far has been mixed, but the developers say they are ironing out any bugs. Even though one user has had trouble loading it on a Mac, and another could not get it to work on Firefox 1.5, most users have only positive things to say about the tool.

97th Floor is Search Engine Optimization firm that specializes in reputation management, social media marketing and blog optimization. It has clients in most major industries including medical, law, apparel and clothing, alternative sports, catering, weddings, and e-commerce.
