Dimension Data lands NSW govt contract win

Dimension Data has won a contract worth more than $300,000 with the NSW Attorney General's department to e-enable the Land and Environment Court.

It includes the development of a system for the electronic lodgement of documents as well as the payment processing of fees, document downloading and an administration interface to manage all matters before the court.

The court hears about 2,000 matters a year including disputes over development applications, land values, and environment issues.

Land and Environment Court Registrar Megan Greenwood said the Internet Lodgement System will assist court users and legal practitioners facilitating e-mail exchange of documents.

The Attorney General department's assistant director of planning Margot Stowe said matters heard by the court involve all areas of the state so the system will be of particular benefit to rural and remote litigants.
