NetComm Limited (ASX:NTC) has acquired 3G wireless technology developers Call Direct Cellular Solutions in a deal worth $2.2 million.
Call Direct develops technologies including wireless fire safety monitoring devices and other unmanned safety systems.
In addition to the payments, which will be made in cash and share, the founders of Call Direct have been given senior positions within NetComm.
The deal has a deferred settlement term of three years, and is expected to be immediately cashflow-positive to NetComm.
