Social networking sites are now more popular than pornography, according to recent research.
Bill Tancer analysed Web information from over 10 million web users, concluding that porn sites are becoming less frequented as social networking becomes more popular.
Surfing for porn now makes up just 10 percent of Web searches, compared to 20 percent a decade ago.
The 18-24 year-old age group in particular is searching for less pornography. Tanner told Reuters that he believes this age group is spending so much time on social networking sites that they don't have time to look at adult sites.
Tancer has written a book about his findings titled 'Click: What millions of people are doing online and why it matters'.
