The Federal Court has mostly dismissed Telstra's (ASX:TLS) appeal against a series of decisions the ACCC had made in recent line sharing services (LSS) disputes.
The presiding judge, Justice Lindgren, found merit in just two of the 11 grounds for appeal Telstra had filed, finding that the ACCC erred in its handling of a minor, one-off disconnection charge.
But the judgement has confirmed the ACCC's overall approach to setting prices for LSS, including fixing a rental charge at $2.50 per month.
The matter will be back before the court on October 22, when the final orders will be heard.
