John Greaves has announced that he intends to resign as finance director of Solution 6 following the completion of a major review of the company's business activities, its future prospects and its financial performance. Ian Keddie was appointed CFO two months ago and will assume control of the company's reconstruction process, which will now focus on operational efficiencies and cost reductions.
Greaves' departure will create a space that Neil Gamble CEO and long-time associate of Greaves will find difficult to cope with. "John's contribution to this first stage of Solution 6's reconstruction has been invaluable," Gamble acknowledged.
Greaves said he was pleased to have been involved in the first stage of Solution 6's "revival", but said he was confident that Keddie would continue the progress. "My decision to leave is purely a lifestyle choice," he said.
