The Daily Show's Jon Stewart on Wednesday night weighed in on the lost iPhone debacle skewering Apple over the police raid on Gizmodo Editor Jason Chen's house. Stewart doesn't delve into the whole lost vs. stolen iPhone issue as justification for the raid, but The Daily Show's sketch does deliver some hilarious moments. Riffing off the Microsoft is evil, Apple is good trope, Stewart says, "You guys are busting down doors in Palo Alto while Commandant Gates is ridding the world of mosquitoes? What the f*$k is going on?"
Stewart isn't the only one to get it on the iPhone debacle, check out Stewart's clip and some other selected iPhone debacle-related videos for your consideration:
You can view the video on The Daily Show's Web site.
David Letterman used his famous Top 10 list to deliver the "Top 10 excuses of the guy who lost the iPhone."
Several people have already used Google's search stories tool to make their own lost iPhone 4G videos. This is the funniest one I've found, but if you think you can do better create your own at youtube.com/searchstories and leave a link in the comments.
This video isn't gut-busting hilarious, but this mashup of Gizmodo's posted image of Gray Powell, the Apple engineer who reportedly lost the iPhone 4G in a bar, and the first post-scandal Tiger Woods Nike commercial just works.
Of course, there's one last video I didn't include, but if you must see it, the Hitler iPhone 4G parody can be found here. Go ahead, but ask yourself, isn't the Hitler meme getting old?
