Henley Business School offers masters course with Capgemini

New course will improve business understanding of tech graduates

Henley Business School's Informatics Research Centre, has launched a new Masters course covering how business uses technology.

The Business School, at the University of Reading, will be offering the Business Technology Consulting M.Sc. in partnership with Capgemini, to applicants with industry experience as well as graduates.

The course will be based on a system that Capgemini currently uses to develop skilled business technology consultants. The 12-month programme is designed to provide graduates with practical knowledge and a deeper understanding of business and its use of technology, rather than focusing on the technologies themselves.

Henley Business School, said: "Graduates leave education with a strong understanding of the technology from an academic perspective, but traditionally their understanding of the intricacies of business is often non-existent."

Graduates will have access to consulting frameworks, case studies and real-life project-based assignments managed by a network of mentors. The course also includes a week-long module at the Capgemini University in Paris.

The course is limited to a maximum 20 graduates, and is set to start in October.
