Amcom expects net profit after tax of $17.2 million

Amcom expecting solid full year results

Amcom Telecommunications has announced an expected net profit after tax of $17.2 million for the year ended 30 June 2010, based on unaudited management accounts and iiNet’s (ASX:IIN) expected earnings which was announced in July.

The telco’s (ASX:AMM) expected net profit after tax is an increase of 42 per cent over the figures from 2009.

Also on the increase, the net profit after tax from 100 per cent owned operations, excluding earning of associates and one-off items, is projected at $10.5 million, up 33 per cent from the previous year.

Back in February, the telco delivered a 66 per cent year on year increase in net profits after tax to $7.6 million for the half year to 31 December 2009.

In recent news, Hutchison Telecommunications (Australia) Ltd (HTA) has posted a first half net profit of $17.9 million, as more customer switch to its merged telco entity Vodafone Hutchison Australia (VHA).
