Dimension Data has released further details of its $12 million Queensland Government ICT consolidation program contract announced earlier this month.
Other vendors to receive contracts include EMC who will provide a consolidated storage and data protection solution while HP will supply datacentre automation.
Dimension Data has been awarded two standing offer arrangements (SOAs) under the whole of government program. The contract is for three years, with two one year extensions available.
It will be providing technology and services for security information and event management (SIEM) in partnership with RSA together with patch and vulnerability management (PVM) from McAfee.
Both SOAs and initial contracts form part of the Foundation Infrastructure Project. The project enables whole-of-government consolidation of the Queensland Government’s CBD data centres.
The company will implement RSA’s enVision solution to collect events and log data from network, system and application sources.
