GoConnect (ASX:GCN) has launched a final mobile version of its uctv.fm IPTV platform.

The company has concluded a beta test of the platform, which commenced last week, and has now gone live with the final product.

The browser-based uctv.fm for mobiles can now be accessed via web-accessible phones including Apple's iPhone, BlackBerrys and handsets running Google's Android and Microsoft's Windows Mobile 7.

Currently there are around 240 videos available on demand for mobile users.

In a statement, GoConnect said it was pursuing distribution agreements with potential broadband and mobile operator partners, and that negotiations are “advanced.”

The company had already seen acceptance by certain key players within the industry, GoConnect added.

GoConnect has been busy forging multiple content deals and partnerships for uctv.fm, and in July arranged to have the channel included in Sony's Bravia internet TV platform.

GCN shares fell 7.5 per cent during Wednesday's trading to $0.037.
