Fixed wireless broadband operator Clever Communications (ASX:CVA) has hired two new directors in a board reshuffle.
The company has appointed BigAir CEO Jason Ashton and Charles Chapman, its recently-appointed CFO, to the board.
BigAir, a fellow fixed wireless broadband operator, has arranged to acquire Clever in a takeover bid valuing the takeover target at about $9.5 million.
BigAir's holding in Clever passed the 90 per cent compulsory acquisition threshold on 7 January, and as of Thursday had reached 93.1 per cent, ASX filings show.
Clever also revealed it had appointed Chapman company secretary, replacing managing director Scott Carter who had been standing in as interim secretary.
Tim Watson, non-executive director and former general manager of strategic development for Clever, has meanwhile resigned his post.
