A patent-pending robot hand, originally revealed back in October, seems to be capable of picking up liquids, messy mayonnaise and other sauces without altering or changing its gooey shape. Say hello to the SWITL. You'll want to check this out.

Created by the brains at factory-equipment manufacturer Furukawa Kikou, the SWITL robotic hand was developed with the baking industry in mind. The device is intended to automate certain parts of a bakery's production line, handling various products that are deemed too soft for our clumsy human hands.

The SWITL appears to use some form of conveyer system. Get ready for some sauce-picking action and prepare to set your minds to blown.

Details on how the technology works is currently unknown, oh Furukawa Kikou you tease.
