Xenos Grou Inc. Monday announced an upgrade to its data to e-content platform, software that allows businesses to transform bills, invoices and statements into online content for e-business and collaborative commerce.
The new Version 5.0 offers several ease-of-use and Java-based improvements, Xenos said.
The d2e platform transforms organizations' legacy data and documents in formats such as IBM AFP and Xerox Metacode into online content formats such as XML, HTML and PDF.
Version 5.0 of d2e platform now features an HTML/CSS Generator, which produces HTML formats with cascading style sheets without the need for a browser plug-in, the Toronto-based company said in a statement. It also includes a Java API that allows integration between the platform and Java-based applications and servers.
In addition, Version 5.0 includes a data parser, for parsing flat-file data streams into XML, and a d2e Controller, which is a Java-based graphical user interface for monitoring and controlling the transformation of data into online content formats.
