ICT company Data#3 Limited has teamed up with software and infrastructure provider EMC Corporation in a “strategic partnership”.
Data#3 will be responsible for meeting and managing the increasing demands of EMC customers’ large volumes of data and critical information.
“Managing the ever-increasing volumes of data and information is a significant component of ICT investment,” said Data#3 group general manager, Laurence Baynham, in a statement.
“Businesses have an escalating need to effectively control and mitigate risk in complex infrastructure environments while taking the user experience for accessing, sharing and collaborating on enterprise content to a new level.”
In addition, EMC’s portfolio complements Data#3’s current offerings in its Solutions Framework and adds choice to its customers in deploying its Technology Consumption Model with on-premise, Cloud or hybrid solutions.
In August 2011, Data#3 posted record FY11 results, taking in net profits after tax of $15 million for the year ended 30 June 2011.
