PieNetworks chairman resigns

Justin Milne joined the board in March 2011

Chairman and non-executive director, Justin Milne, has resigned from internet kiosk developer, PieNetworks, with the company announcing the restructure of its company board.

Milne, who joined the board in March 2011 and contributed to the company’s recent development, held previous positions as the managing director of Microsoft Network Australia, chief executive of OzEmail, and group managing director of Telstra.

The company won its first order from the Police and Nurses Credit Society in February 2011.

In September 2011, PieNetworks announced a share placement to raise $2.3 million to pursue the commercialisation of its Hotspot Webphone product.
