Microsoft launched its latest update to Windows at Sydney's Fox Studios
Microsoft recently launched Windows 8 in Australia at a media event in Sydney's Fox Studios.
Windows 8 will be available for download to upgrade existing qualifying Windows PCs starting from Friday, 26th October.
Users who are currently running Windows XP, Windows Vista or Windows 7 on their PC are qualified to download Windows 8 Pro for $39.99 at www.microsoftstore.com.
Selected Windows 7 PCs purchased between June 2, 2012 and January 31, 2013 can download Windows 8 Pro for $14.99 via the Windows Upgrade Offer from at www.windowsupgradeoffer.com.
Windows 8 Pro is available in a box for $69.99 at retailers and at www.microsoftstore.com
