Adobe announced that Creative Cloud for teams is now available to small and medium businesses in Australia and New Zealand.
For $87.49 per month, the cloud-based product includes all Adobe Creative Suite 6 applications, including the latest versions of Acrobat, Muse, Lighroom and Edge. Also included are administrative tools for centralised license purchase and management.
Creative Cloud for teams has 100GB of cloud storage per user, compared to 20GB in the individual flavour of the product.
Existing CS3 and later customers who previously purchased Creative Suite software through volume licensing can get the product at a discount for $62.99 per user per month, Adobe said.
The price is higher in Australia than in the US, where Adobe charges $69.99 per month for the full version and $49.99 for the upgrade version.
"Pricing for Adobe products in each region is based on a range of market factors including local taxes, distribution and labour costs," an Adobe spokeswoman told Computerworld Australia.
"The vast majority of Adobe products–some 85 [per cent]–are sold through channel partners," she said. "In Australia, Adobe’s channel ecosystem is estimated to employ around 3,000 people."
“Adobe’s transformation to the cloud began with a pilot program in Australia and New Zealand before being rolled out around the world in 2012,” said Paul Robson, managing director for Adobe Australia and New Zealand.
“In just seven months, we’ve seen an incredible take-up globally, with more than one million individuals joining Creative Cloud.”
