Samsung is slated to unveil its next-generation Galaxy S4 smartphone Thursday night at an event in New York City and the IDG News Service is providing a Ustream live video stream of the announcement.
The Galaxy S4 will reportedly have a larger display with ultra-high resolution, a faster processor and trademark Eye Scroll software that tracks a user's eyes to determine when to scroll through pages on the display.
The stakes are high. Analysts have said Samsung not only needs to top its current GSIII in hardware specs and software, but to compete with the next iPhone, expected in June, and whatever HTC and other Android phone makers roll out later this year.
Computerworld will have additional news stories and analysis about the new device after the event ends.
