Gavin Jones appointed following strong growth for security vendor

Mobile device management vendor Good Technology has appointed Gavin Jones to the newly created role of Australia and New Zealand vice president/general manager.

Jones was formerly financial services regional director at Salesforce.com and had spent seven years with the company.

Based in Sydney, he will be responsible for A/NZ operations.

The role creation means that Good Technology Asia Pacific corporate general manager Jim Watson has been promoted to Asia vice president. Watson will continue to be based in Melbourne.

The vendor’s customers include Bank of Queensland, Bupa, the Department of Sustainability, Environment, Water, Population & Communities and the Bank of New Zealand.
