IT&e shuffles top jobs

There have been significant changes at e-commerce developer IT&e where Bob Johnson has been appointed CEO and Matthew Brown has moved into the finance director's job.

Johnson, who is also chairman of IT&e, has been acting CEO since November 2000 when he joined the company from Pacific Access, the company that produces the Yellow Pages, where he had also been CEO.

Brown has been a non-executive director of IT&e since it floated in December 1999 and is a founding partner of corporate advisory and venture capital firm Holus Capital as well as being a partner in Brown & Co chartered accounting practice.

It is understood that the major task ahead of the pair is to return the company to profitability and that they stand to gain significant performance bonuses if they succeed.
