Alan Boyle has been moved from CFO to CIO at OPSM Protector in order to promote the company's focus on e-commerce. "We plan to develop our information technology systems to promote e-commerce, drive closer customer relations, deliver productivity improvements and enhance responsiveness to changes in the marketplace," explained managing director Jonathan Pinshaw.
CBD Online has appointed Andrew Saunders CIO and Gary Greenbank chief operating officer. Saunders was recruited to the job from the Government Super Office, where he was also CIO, prior to which he spent 13 years with the Colonial Group. Greenbank, formerly managing director of building products manufacturer Parbury, will be responsible for the combined operations of CBD Online and Halescom, the e-business solutions company recently acquired by CBD Online.
There has been a change of company secretary at Solution 6, where Steven Alperstein has replaced Anthony Cianciolo.
Board-level changes continue to plague troubled regional telco Maxis, which suffered the loss of three directors - including National Party personalities Charles Blunt and Tim Fischer - shortly after Christmas. This week chairman Jim Landau and CEO Ilario Faenza also resigned. A statement released by the company noted that Sepp Stepanian is still a director and "is approaching experienced business people with a view to appointment to the board".
