NSW government plans trade mission to CommunicAsia in Singapore

State government has invited IT companies to exhibit at the industry event

The New South Wales government is inviting IT companies in the state to exhibit at CommunicAsia in Singapore during June 2014 as part of a trade mission.

Deputy premier Andrew Stoner said the event will provide opportunities for companies with overseas export goals to network and win new business. It will run from 17 to 20 June at the Marina Bay Sands.

According to Stoner, approximately 50 per cent of Australia’s telecommunications, computer and information services exports come from NSW.

“By participating, companies could increase their profile in Asia, secure investment and expand internationally,” he said in a statement.

“I encourage NSW IT companies to take advantage of this great opportunity and register their interest before applications close on Friday, 14 February.”

The application can be downloaded from the NSW Trade & Investment website.
