Cloud contact centre vendor LiveOps has begun offering services from the Equinix data centre in Sydney in response to demand from its 65 Australian and New Zealand customers.
According to the company, it will be able to provide customers, including Symantec, Amway and ADT, with high-speed access to its cloud-based network.
LiveOps A/NZ managing director Kristen Pimpini said that the LiveOps platform, which protects data, has been deployed in data centres in the United States, United Kingdom, Singapore, New Zealand and Australia.
“Customers now have continuous high-speed and secure access to our cloud-based voice and data network, regardless of their physical location or the time of the day,” he said in a statement.

According to Pimpini, this will help the company attract new customers because the service addresses data sovereignty issues.
“Large enterprises in financial services, utilities, logistics and government have welcomed our data centre investment and we look forward to bringing on new customers in these areas.”
